My new favorite hang-out is Cafe Aquamarina.  Within a block from our house, we are able to stroll to the Playas boardwalk and stop in for coffee or a heavenly slice of chocolate cake, or both.  A few weeks ago we decided to stroll the boardwalk on a Friday evening and were thrilled to hear drums playing from the cafe rooftop terrace.

It turns out the owners are Architects by trade and they bought the property with a renovation in mind.  They have perfected an ambient atmosphere and the perfect coffee-house vibe.  Unfortunately, they don’t keep much decaf coffee in house or I would be a much more consistent customer.   Anyway, it is a great place to sit and watch the sun go down.
